Share the Love is my favorite program here at Shinn Shots Photography. I absolutely love that I can use my business to spread some joy and give gifts to those who deserve or need it! This program reflects who I am, what I value, and how I want my business to operate.
Shinn Shots Photography gives away$1,000 worth of creative fees, print credits, and digital images every year to people who deserve it.
How do I know who deserves it? You tell me.
And you get a $25 photo credit just for sending your entry in!

Why do I give $25 for every nomination? Because I think this program is important. Time is precious and I appreciate you taking the time to share the love.
(*If you or the winner has purchased images within the past year, they can be uploaded in an online gallery for the winners to choose from. A separate session is not needed!*)

Mighty Moms and Devoted Dads
February 1 – April 30
Parents sacrifice a lot for their kids. I think it’s time that they get a little recognition! From February 1 to April 30, Shinn Shots Photography accepts stories written about awesome moms and dads who deserve a little something in return for all their hard work. Winners are announced May 5…just in time to give them the gift of photography for Mother’s or Father’s Day!
One mighty mom and one devoted dad will each receive a $150 print credit.
Lean on Me
June 1 – August 31
Lean on me is the biggest giveaway because everyone knows how tough it is to fall on hard times. Beautiful portraits can make tough times just a little bit easier. From June 1 to August 31, stories about a family or person in need may be submitted. Stories can be about yourself or someone you know who is having a hard time due to job loss, illness, or any other difficult circumstance. One winner will be selected and announced on September 5th.
The winner will receive a complimentary photo shoot, 5 digital images on CD, and a $200 print credit.
Pay it Forward
October 1 – December 31
‘Tis the season to be kind and generous! This is my favorite way to share the love because it gets the most good done. Pay it forward is all about doing something kind for someone else. If you know someone who has done wonderful things for human kind (or even just one wonderful thing!), send in their story and nominate them to win. Or, you can nominate yourself by sharing the story of your own good deed. The whole point is to make the world a better place, so it does not matter if you nominate yourself or someone else. The best do-gooder will be announced on January 5th.
The winner will receive a $150 print credit.
